On June 2, 2009, the City Council adopted a resolution to proceed with Phase 3 of the Intermodal project based on the “Don’t Move the Depot” alternative.  The timing of design and construction is dependent upon future funding.

Major components proposed for Phase 3 are anticipated to include:

• Multiple regional transportation services within convenient locations for passengers
• New terminal areas with expanded bus bays, waiting areas, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, public open space and amenities
• Upgraded mode connections for easier transfers
• Historic depot and new terminal integrated for seamless flow of people
• Opportunities for expanding transportation services in the future
• Development of on-site retail and office space
• Increased parking options
