Floor Plans
These floor plans illustrate one possible future layout of the building. The main waiting room and concourse to the tracks are shown as they were historically, opening up the north-south circulation path through the building. Primary Amtrak functions are shown relocated to the west side of the building. Leaving the east side of the building available for future tenant buildout.

Elevations
The elevations show that the rehabilitation work will primarily restore the building’s exterior. Minimal modifications are proposed to support the buildings functionality and vitality on the north and east sides.

Site Plans Part 1
The buildings site context and site circulation is diagrammed in this site plan. Some potential future site improvements are included to show how the site can enhance the user and pedestrian experiences to and from the station.

Historical Significance
These diagrams indicate levels of historic significance for spaces at the exterior and interior of the station based on information contained in Depot: Character-Defining Features Draft, Sacramento Intermodal Transportation Facility Design Guidelines Draft, and Historic Assessment Report, City of Sacramento.

The City of Sacramento is holding a Preservation Commission Special Workshop to review the design for the renovation and rehabilitation of the Sacramento Valley Station.

The workshop will include a public display of the project’s design features as well as a formal presentation to the Preservation Commission. Public comment will be taken following the presentation.
