As part of the TIGER Grant application, the City is finding ways to make a better experience for the cyclist. Cycling is a growing mode of transportation within Sacramento and the region. Trains are only able to carry a few bikes in each car and the demand for cycling to a passenger’s destination is growing rapidly and there are a wide variety of means to accommodate user demand for cycling infrastructure.
